Yes, we buy diamonds at our flagship Vancouver store.  For diamonds under 0.4 carats, we can make an offer on the spot. For diamonds over 0.4 carats, Our GIA certified gemologist can grade your stone(s) and then we can make you an offer.  We also selectively purchase some gemstones, such as rubies, emeralds and sapphires.

Please call ahead or make an appointment if you have diamonds and gemstones larger than 0.4 carat so that we can ensure our gemologist will be on hand to perform the grading or evaluation. The number in Vancouver is (604) 876-4653.

We purchase loose, cut stones as well as mounted cut stones, but the latter (again, if over 0.4 carat) must be removed from the jewellery for a proper grading.  We do not purchase synthetic stones, uncut “raw” stones or stones that have been fractured and treated.

Our gemologist is certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the Canadian Gemmological Association (CGA). Once your larger diamond or gemstone is graded or evaluated, you’ll receive a free, no-obligation quote.
