Why Us?

Vancouver Gold opened its drop in location as an alternative to those risky “Cash 4 Gold” companies that provide unfair rates and awful service. We are still proud of the service offered at our 254 West Broadway store-front location where we test your gold while you watch and pay on the spot. However, we have had many requests from people who either live too far away, or who do not have time to drop in. For this reason, we have launched a safe and easy mail-in service. Because we have gained the trust of thousands of customers, we are pleased to offer a safe and high-paying alternative to the usual mail-in service.

How it Works:

Just fill out the GoldPack order form at the bottom of the page or call 604-764-5134. Vancouver Gold will mail you all of the information needed to send in your gold. We will also include a pre-paid Expedited Parcel envelope for you to send your items back to us. We will then test your items and send you a cheque in the mail within one business day of receiving your gold!

How We Handle Your Package:

1. Your package is individually opened and the contents laid out.
2. The items are then individually tested with the most accurate equipment to ensure the karat and weight of the contents.
3. The total value is calculated based on the karat, the weight, and the current market price of gold.
4. Your cheque, along with a detailed receipt, is mailed to you within one business day.

How We Test Your Gold:

Vancouver Gold takes the personal and monetary value of your items seriously. We employ the use of state of the art equipment. All evaluations are done by hand on an individual basis to ensure the most accurate testing.

The price you receive for your gold is based on the market price of the gold the day we receive your gold. Our current prices are displayed on the right side of the website and that is exactly what you will receive. Unlike other Mail-in services, there are no hidden fees.
